THINGS TO DO

BEACH
One of the best beaches in Europe is waiting for you and its just 100m from our front door to the paths leading down to the sand or you could take a ride in the Victorian Cliff Lift. As well as safe soft sand with life guards you can find classic amusement arcades, plentiful selection of takeaways and kiosks and bars & bistro's.
PIER
The town has a great example of a classic Pier reinvented to offer excitement including a zip wire to the beach, indoor climbing and adventure centre and a great amusement arcade as well as cocktail bar and restaurants and great ice cream. You will also find tourist information, a giant big wheel with amazing views of the coastline and water fountain play that all ages love.
GARDENS
Running all the way from the Pier to the town centre are the award winning gardens with Bourne stream running through them. You can find crazy golf and food kiosks, outside table tennis as well as plenty of space to chill relax and mingle. Throughout the year the gardens host special events and festivals and there is always something new happening.
NIGHTLIFE
There is so much choice of award winning nightlife all within walking distance. Including top night clubs to suit all tastes, Casino's, Multiplex Cinema, Bournemouth International Centre and Pavilion, 100's of restaurants from all the well known chains to small independent eateries. New family entertainment recently opened include indoor adventure golf and laser and Virtual Reality centres and all on our door step.
AQUARIUM
Less than 5 minutes away is a great seafront Aquarium that's open all year and now has a new Penguin feature. A day ticket lets you visit throughout the day inbetween enjoying the beach.
SHOPPING
The town centre is 5 minutes walk and you can find department stores, high street fashion chains and independent shops offering good choice. You can also find interesting local neighbourhoods such as Westbourne, Ashley Cross and Southbourne that offer a greater choice of independent shops and cafe culture experiences.
